This is my documented medical experience following a rhinoplasty performed by Dr. Selim Turan in May 2025. Immediately after the surgery, I began developing severe symptoms including swelling, nasal discharge, facial pressure, and difficulty breathing. I was later hospitalized, where lab cultures taken directly from the surgical site — after full alcohol disinfection — confirmed the presence of Pseudomonas aeruginosa and E.coli ESBL, both consistent with post-operative contamination. CT imaging revealed structural damage to the nose, columella involvement, and a risk of nasal collapse. I required a prolonged hospitalization of two months with IV Tazocin treatment. All medical findings, documentation, and imaging confirm that the infection originated from the surgery itself. Everything presented here is authentic and taken directly from my hospitalization. I am sharing this information to provide transparency and help others make informed decisions before undergoing surgery.
